A new video from The Nimmons Tribute!

To honour Phil on his June 3rd birthday, the video features a previously unreleased arrangement of Phil’s composition ‘Think Nice Thoughts’ - live from the band’s September 2024 performance at The Jazz Room in Waterloo, ON.

Additionally, the sheet music of this arrangement, along with Phil’s original big band arrangement, are now both available for purchase through the Canadian Music Center!

Phil Nimmons passes at 100

With deep sadness, the family of Phil Nimmons announces that on Friday, April 5th, Phil passed away peacefully at home.  As Phil would say, he has “gone to the land of 2 ‘n’ 4.”
